These writings are meant to be explored more within your time of devotion with Jesus. I present some scripture to help launch you into your own divine encounter with Jesus. These writings are meant to compliment the Beauty of God Series where I take you on a journey in describing the beauty and love of the Trinity. I encourage you to read each writing slowly and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit!
What would happen if you joined Him on every journey He wants to take you? What are you willing to leave behind. Jesus desires to be chosen by you every day. Not one day goes by where He does not offer you His heart. He is a lover looking for His partner to join with Him. Will you say yes to Jesus?
Everything He does, He does for you. He sings for you, He dances for you, He shows you the wonders of creation; all just for you. He waits for the moment when you speak His name. He is a king who patiently waits to bring you into His chamber (Song of Solomon 1:4). Quietly He waits for you to notice Him. He waits for the moment when you will look into His eyes. His bride, with her eternal gaze upon the Son, love is only for Him. Read out loud this prayer in Psalms 27:4:
“One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord”
What happens when we behold Him? What happens when we catch the rays of His smile? What would you give to dwell in the House of the Lord? The House of God is every blessing in Christ that is given to us. Living in Christ, our home. We behold and become like Him when we rest inside Him. What does life look like beholding Jesus face to face? God looking into man and man looking into God…
Prayer: Jesus we worship you! I give my heart to you right now at this moment. I want to be with you all the days of my life! I want to behold and become like you. I want to look in your eyes and watch you smile. Jesus, I cast away all other lovers that I have placed on the altar of my heart. You alone are my Lord and my God. I desire to make my home inside you Jesus. I am in you, and you are in me. Show me your glory! I turn my gaze towards you.
Read Jesus prayer in John 17:24:
” Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.”
I encourage you to proclaim His power and authority over your life right now. Proclaim His Love over you and surrender your imagination to Him. You will see His smile inside your heart! You are made to encounter Jesus. Run after Him and do not let Him go for any other lover.
