Isaiah 6:1 (Be Exalted Lord God)

Isaiah 6:1, I love this passage so much but I split up into little segments as I sat with the Holy Spirit in this verse. I will share with you some of my notes! I want to come back to this verse again! Enjoy my raw notes everyone!

Verse 1: …I saw the Lord high and exalted, seat on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple.

Am I seeing God? Am I beholding the beauty of his majesty? Am I living a lifestyle of being in awe of God’s wonder? Jesus be enthroned; be exalted oh God in my heart! As a seer am I filled with wonder and Awe? The Holy one of Heaven is exalted above every name and above every power—he has all authority.

While I was reading this, the Lord spoke to me, “Micah am I exalted in the secret places of your heart? Whom do you have seated on the throne of your heart? Is it fame; is it reputation?” Father I desire to see you in the fullness of your glory; be lifted up Jesus in my secret place when no one is looking, when only you are watching. I want to be filled with your glory oh God. I need your presence—your kingdom come and your will be done in my life! Waves of unimaginable glory filling the inward places of my heart! I can see him now, his eyes of fire gazing at me!

His blue fiery eyes claiming every place in my heart. His voice thundered in me, “I am Lord over your life! I will not let any other lover take my place! My fire for you burns away what is not of me! My child, I desire to fill every place of your soul. I rule over the universe and I also rule over YOU!” I cannot move his throne…no man can, no demon can. His throne is established forever and ever.

What is the key to beholding God? Worship is a powerful place to remain in. Worship causes us to lift up our eyes to the heavens and brings us into a place of beholding God. The heavens are already open am I looking up to the one who is high above all things (Matt 28:18, Eph 1:21, Dan 7:14 and Philippians 2:9). Let the countenance of my beloved king shine upon me! So, the question is, are my eyes lifted in worship? Is my heart in a place of communion with Him? This temple that he lives in, is it in worship?

Romans 12-1, “Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.”

Hard questions:
What have I given my eyes too?
Have I given them to distractions?
Are these distractions keeping me from God?
Am I living a lifestyle of beholding God? Or am I wasting my life away in the distractions?

While pondering this, I was caught up into heaven before the fire of the Lord and his glory filled up the throne room. I noticed that his garment were angels of his presence moving up and down his body! My Father, with his eyes of fire, thundered with passion for me, “Micah, Behold your God! Lift up your eyes to the king of the universe! Remove all distractions; this is a command son! YOU SHALL LOVE ME AND BEHOLD ME!”

Isaiah 40:25-26, “To whom then will you liken Me That I would be his equal?” says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars, The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; Because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of them is missing.

I believe as a Seer this should be something I live by, a Life of beholding the beauty of the Lord (Psalm 27:4). The mission of the Seer Prophet, is to release the beauty of God—a call to return the Awe of God. A life of Isaiah 6:1 behold his beauty seated above every authority and his glory filling the earth AND his people. Lift up your eyes and behold your GOD!

Prayer: Father, I remove every distraction! Come with fire right now upon my heart. I want to look at those eyes of love and fire! Forgive me for entertaining my own fame; forgive me for seeking my own glory! Jesus, you are Lord over my life, be seated upon the throne of my heart! Holy Spirit I ask you, show me the glory of God the Father and God the Son! Open my eyes; lift up my head! I give you my body—this temple and all its passions, fill it with fire right now in Jesus name amen!

AMEN!
