I Receive You, Father

Jeremiah 31:3, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”

No, the arms of my Father will only comfort me right now. This morning was one of those moments. I approached the light of heaven; he pulled me into heaven this morning. I saw warrior angels coming out from the incredible brightness rippled from the throne on God. I could see war going on below me as the mighty warrior angels chased the demons away.

“Come sit with me Micah,” My Father said as he reached for me. He was huge and amazing. He wore the most dazzling golden robe mingled with diamonds and other precious stones. His hands of light held me close while I rested on His chest. Everything was so peaceful with Him as He whispered to me, “Everything is going to be ok my son. I have everything under control and you do not get to be afraid, worried, stressed, anxious.” I remember the feeling of His robe against my face; the smell from His spirit body—He is real my friends and He will not harm you! He is so gentle, rich in mercy, and abounding in love towards us. He commands the armies of heaven and still has plenty of time to hold you whenever you need Him to.

God is love and in him there is no darkness. He is not one to turn you away because He is a supreme deity. He is not one to turn you away because of His awesome power! He is the one who receives every part of you. He is proud of His creation, He is proud of His son. You are His son. I hope that you understand that God is not like how we expect Him to be; He is who He wants to be. We cannot change who He is and we need to stop trying to change Him. God is affectionate, powerful, protective, funny, unpredictable, a day dreamer, a creator, a father, a friend…He is all that you need Him to be.

I rested with Him in this early morning encounter and felt His chest rise and lower with every breathe. He whispered to me, “My name is I AM, Micah.” I felt his hands rest on my back while His glory went right into me. I remained there until I found myself back in my bed.

Thank you Father for all that you are! I accept you like you have accepted me. Jesus help me to love the Father like how you love Him and Father help me to love your Son like how you love Him.

The enemy would love to dull our minds to believe that God is not approachable or even emotional. The enemy hates it when we allow God to be His own person. See friends, we believe in God, yes, but sometimes we do not accept him. We want to be accepted so much by others—we want our hearts to be received, but we rarely stop to think about how our Father truly feels. He desires to be accepted fully by his children. I have looked into His face and watched His countenance light up when you gaze at Him. People tell me all the time that no one can see God and live, but that is contrary to His heart. We, with unveiled faces, behold the glory of God and are becoming transformed into his image. Besides, we have the entire God head living inside us—we should have been dead a long time ago if that was the case. My point is this, accept God for who he is not by what makes sense to you. You will be surprised that what makes sense to you is often wrong.

Change your thinking…

2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”
