River of Life (Revelation 22:1)

Revelation 22:1,”Then he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Pool of Peace
Jesus in Garments of Life
Unto the river he leads me
To the stream of life
I shall never thirst
I shall never want
I am not an empty well
I am a pool of peace
A refreshed spirit
Living waters flow from me
Jesus in Garments of Life
Fill my soul to overflow

I stood in the River of Life flowing from the throne of God. My Spirit was penetrated by the crystal brilliance of his glory. My glorious, beloved, Father washed me in his love! His robe is like brilliant stars shinning in the twilight sky…who can compare to his majesty. His smile causes heaven to role in a bundle of joy and the surrounding mountains to sing! He is awesome; our Father is awesome! I couldn’t resist getting closer to Him and he did not resist me! I walked forward into the light—through the river flowing—into intimacy!

Jesus stepped out of the Father dressed in a crystal robe like the river flowing from him! He walked down each step in a brilliant blue starlight with a crown of peace on his head. The river began to rise at the calling of my name, “Micah, come to me.” Who am I that he would call me to commune with his heart? My Father, Lord Jesus, and most Gracious Holy Spirit…man and God as one. Jesus spoke these words to me, “Son, I have called you to be a stream of living water; life more abundantly flowing from the soul. Come and drink from the water I give.”

Come to the river! Father, I thirst for you alone. I ask that you would fill me up till my cup overflows with love! Thank you Lord that I am a spring of life. I will not become an empty well of bitterness, pain, and unforgiveness, but a river flowing with life abundantly! Refresh me Holy Spirit.

In a moment, I was looking into the Lord Jesus’ eyes, and I saw his deep love for me. I never wanted to turn away from him; his love is so beautiful.  He said to me, “Drink, Micah and have peace. I am always good and will never change. You can rest in the waters I bring to your spirit. Do not let your heart be worried, my love. I have the crown, my child, and the enemy cannot take it from me.” He leaned in to kiss my lips and our heads touched. His breath smelled like apples. The river began to rise to our waist while Jesus held me close. He said to me, “You are not a dry river bed, my love…it is beginning to rain.” I noticed shimmering white angels on each side of the river near beautiful, abundant trees that were rich in fruit. Each fruit, just by looking at it, gave you the desired taste for its nectar. The angels watched us intently wondering what mystery holds for Jesus and me.

Jesus, hold me close to you…draw me into intimacy with you that will sustain my soul even through the night. I thank you that I am not a dry weary land! Thank you Lord that it is about to rain.

John 4:13-14, “Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again. But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life.’”
