Hello Everyone! My name is Micah and I am so excited to share with you what God has laid on my heart.
Well I wanted to tell you about myself. I am a son, a cousin, uncle, brother, and one day will be a husband! I have an amazing family. Two brothers and two sisters. They like me and I like them too! Their names are as follows: My eldest sister and top security guard, Amber who married a wonderful Godly man, Alex Kaufman. Derri Turnbo; our joy box! Makes me laugh constantly! Lucas Turnbo, the youngest and smartest of us all. He is my best friend! While I could brag about them all, This would take forever. I promote my siblings because, they are my biggest fans and greatest support. I have been through some very hard seasons, but they were always their to remind me of my identity. I give them honor… they are my gifts, my gifts who love me the way Jesus does. Each one has stuck by my side in every season! I love my best friends!
God gave me the best parents ever, Derryl and Kimberly Turnbo. I have been so blessed to have parents who model what it means to be consumed with His presence! My dad taught me to always seek an intimate relationship with Jesus, my mom showed me what it means to be a friend of God! I give them honor… I will always adore them!
I was born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio, it’s a pretty cool place! It is my passion to be a full expression of Jesus, and to bring others into his love. I wish to express this in many different ways, as I am an artist as well. I am part of a wonderful church called Vineyard Church Northwest. I currently help lead and teach the prophetic ministry at my church. I am working on a book–one day! I am also a ballet dancer trying to bring back the arts to the Lord. It is my passion to see men return to worship through dance. I believe our bodies were made to give him glory; so that is why I take ballet.
My Favorite food is cheese! Cheese Cheese Cheese…Jesus made cheese for me!
I have the cutest nieces and nephews: They are constant life of the party!
My reason for having a blog like this is because I have a desire to see others filled up with wonder for God again. What do I mean about wonder? Wonder is continual state of joy. It is joy in the eyes of one who beholds beauty. The AWE of God, the Joy of God! I have been given a task to prophesy joy, wonder, and awe to the church and to the world. I have gone through seasons of testing and even as I am writing this to you, I am being tested in a season now. I will speak on this recent testing in another post, but all this is so that I may become joy, wonder, and filled with the awe of God. We are people who behold beauty, we were made to marvel at the works of God. My goal in this is to see others behold his beauty–encounter his love. Yes, even in the dark season we have a choice to behold his glory. There will be writings on this site about my experiences with demons, Hell, and even Satan, but this is all to point to the power and majesty of Jesus. One of my favorite passages of Scripture is John 17:24, Psalm 27:4. Jesus desires that we see him in his glory and I want to dwell in that place of beholding the beauty of God.
“Father, I desire that they also, whom You have given Me, be with Me where I am, so that they may see My glory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.” -John 17:24
“One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple.”-Psalm 27:4
I believe that God has called me to express his glory so that others may know Him more deeply. God is beautiful, Jesus is beautiful and by the Holy Spirit we can see him! (Please read Revelation 1:12-18 and 4.) Holy Spirit grants us revelation to see God. He releases light into our hearts. By the spirit of wisdom and revelation, our eyes began to open to encounter God.
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints…” -Ephesians 1:17-18
Now understand, these encounters/ visitations are not something I create by my own power. These are given to me by the power of the Holy Spirit. He initiates them. I do not. I simply worship and wait on the Lord! So my goal is to bring you with me into heaven! My goal is to bring you into light! God wants you to see him, His children are called to see Him and be a full expression of Jesus. So have fun reading! Enjoy the pictures of my family!
