Passion For Jesus

As I watched, one angel flew down to me and spoke, “Passion for Jesus. He is the center of everything.

John 1:51, “And he said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.” Often, I am asked how can one see angels, but most people who ask are missing the point of why the angels have a ministry. The primary focus of angelic ministry is to first worship God. Worship is what unites us to the angels; it’s the core of who we are. We minister unto the Lord. I wanted to start out with the verse above so you can see the focus of angelic ministry and that is Jesus Christ.

The Lord showed me the worship of angels one evening. The Lord took me to Heaven, where I saw angels beholding the glory of Christ Jesus. Jesus’ countenance was very intense with light and beauty that I fail to put into words. Jesus opened up His heart, and I saw the glory of God flowing out of His chest like millions of stars shining with brilliance.  Jesus’ eyes, like a flame of pure fire, looked upon me as if undeniable desire overcame Him.

Suddenly thousands of angels opened their wings, which gave them flight around Jesus, whom they love. I could see in such detail each feather from the angels who worshiped Jesus. They resembled diamonds dazzling in the sunlight. Each angel was so different, but their passion was in unity for the Son of God! Each angel expressed their wings in worship to Jesus in a way that was very personal to each one.

As I watched, one angel flew down to me and spoke, “Passion for Jesus. He is the center of everything. Do you know what unites humans and angels? It is our passion for Jesus. We love Him, don’t we?”

I began to weep, “Yes, we love Him. It unites us; Jesus has always been the focus.” The angel returned to its worship, and my eyes turned to the center of my heart, the Lord Jesus. His eyes are burning with desire for me. He loves me so much, and I love Him. Angels remind us of who truly is the focus because times are becoming more distracting with so much trouble, doubt, and fear on this earth. Jesus is the center, the one we love. His Kingdom is here!
